Early Dismissal - Friday, June 5, 2026
On Friday, June 5th all students in Kindergarten through eleventh grade, both walkers and bus riders will report to school and/or bus stop at the regular time. Please note that dismissal will be earlier than usual. The dismissal times are listed below for your convenience:

NKASD General School Board Meeting - Tuesday, June 2, 2026
The General School Board Meeting of the New Kensington-Arnold School District will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Board Room at VJSHS, 703 Stevenson Boulevard, and also virtually via Microsoft Teams. Discount Kennywood Tickets Are Still Available
You can still purchase the “Good Any Day” discount ticket for $37.99, which lets you visit Kennywood any day until July 12th. This flexible ticket is available for online purchase until June 30th.
A limited number of tickets are also available at the Administration Building. These tickets are valid all the way through September 7, 2026, and cost $40 each. Westmoreland Food Bank Summer Food Program
The Westmoreland Food Bank will be providing free grab and go lunches Monday through Friday, June 22nd - August 14th, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Speed Family Blessing Box. See the attached flyer for more details.
The Kings & Queens of the Court
The Kings and Queens of the Court summer basketball league will run on Saturdays from June 13th to July 25. Boys and Girls ages 7 to 14 can register by scanning the QR code in the attached flier.
