Parent - Teacher Conferences, Monday, November 4, 2024

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be scheduled for Monday, November 4, 2024, from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. School is not in session to afford parents the opportunity to meet with teachers. Below is the schedule for conferences at the schools within the district. We hope you will plan to meet with us to discuss your child’s success and the continuation of an enjoyable and profitable school experience.

Elementary

Secondary
Parents are encouraged to come to Valley Junior Senior High School between the hours of 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. as their schedule permits them to meet with teachers. Please call Valley Junior Senior High school (724-337-4536) for additional information.

NKASD School Board Reorganization Meeting - Wednesday, December 4, 2024

The School Board Reorganization Meeting of the New Kensington-Arnold School District will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Board Room at VJSHS, 703 Stevenson Boulevard, and also virtually via Microsoft Teams. Information for joining the virtual meeting will be available on the NKASD Website the day of the meeting. This meeting is open to the public.

2025 Distinguished Alumni Award

The New Kensington-Arnold School District is seeking nominations for its Distinguished Alumni Award for the class of 2025. Appropriately nominated alumni will represent the best of the communities of Arnold and New Kensington. They are role models for our students to look up to and a source of great pride for the school district. Consideration will be given to candidates that have made outstanding contributions in, but not limited to, the areas of athletics, business, education, journalism, law, manufacturing, medicine, performing arts, public service, science, and the trades. Yearbook Information For Class of 2025

Senior pictures and Senior Quotes for the yearbook are due to be turned in to Mr. Fry before Christmas Break. You can send the picture on Teams Chat or by email to [email protected]. If you are using a school portrait from Lifetouch instead of turning in your own (Picture Day is October 16th), send a message to Mr. Fry. You must get your picture taken for Skyward and for Student ID. Yearbooks and Senior Recognition Pages are now on sale on yearbookforever.com.
