The District has been notified that a student that attends Roy Hunt Elementary School has been quarantined for a positive Covid-19 test result and will remain out of school until medically permitted to return. The Health Department has been consulted and no further quarantine or closures are being required.
All district classrooms and common areas continue to be disinfected nightly and we are confident that our schools are safe for students and staff to return each day.
Everyone is reminded to continue to follow safety protocol that include wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, and washing or sanitizing hands regularly throughout the day.
If students are not feeling well and are exhibiting symptoms of Covid-19 or the flu, parents should contact an appropriate health care professional and the student should be kept home until they are no long symptomatic.
