NKASD - Covid-19 Education & Health & Safety Response Plans
The PA Department of Education, the PA Department of Health, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania continues to require Pennsylvania school districts to maintain and update health and safety plans that reflect current practices and procedures relevant to operating schools over the course of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

This chart will be updated with weekly counts for all four NKASD schools. Please note that the yearly total includes the weekly total being displayed. General notices will be sent out to all families regarding cases and direct contacts will be notified directly by school personnel.

Special Education
In accordance with Senate Bill 751, recently signed in to law by Governor Tom Wolf, The New Kensington-Arnold School District offers the following letter ensuring a free appropriate public education (FAPE) is provided to our students with individualized education plans (IEPs). Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child's special education teacher or the Director of Special Education.
